Alright my system has been decided and I need some help with the final pieces. I'm going with the following due to some deals and help by one of my friends who works (and use to install) at a stereo shop:

Alpine 9833 or Eclipse 85444
CDT CL61 6.5 components with TD25LP kit
JL 10w7 sub
JL 500/1
JL 300/2

Now what I need help with is which head unit would you select? I'm leaning towards the Alpine as my buddy said he could set it up sweet with the digital time correction.

Also what kind of wiring do I need? I'm new to this stereo thing (though I work with electronics for a living), so I need to know what type of distribuition block, where to mount it, wire size, good companies, should I get a Cap (.5 Farad)? Help me out. Thanks.
