I have been to several of the major electronics stores...Goodguys, CircuitCity, Bestbuy, Frys to try and get a new headunit installed but they say there is no dash kit for the 01 CL. I tried searching the forum but was unable to find any threads on there I could get a dash install kit. Is there one I can buy or do I need to get it custom made?

 

those guys don't know what they are talking about. its Metra Kit # 99-7868, just tell them to ask for that specifically from their Metra supplier.
