My 02 TLS did not come with the Navi system.

I'm not really interested in getting a Navi system, but I would like to have DVD screen that extends and pops up so I can watch movies where the navi should have been located.

Can anyone give me a rough ballpark on what the pricing would be on doing this?

ALSO, if anyone loves one brand or hates another from past experience, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

in order to get the screen to fit in the post it notes location (if that is even where you are refering to).... you will have to modify either the dash or the screen or maybe both... that opening is roughly 1 in which means that you will have to take the flip out screen apart to make it small enough to fit in there... almost any car stereo shop with some knowledge could perform this install for you but you are look at a pretty penny... the screen that i have seen used more often then not in this type of install is the pioneer avx-7300 but i belive that pioneer has remodled there line and now they have a new screen which i think will be a little harder to make fit... but either way you are probably looking in the $1000 neighborhood... the screen is around $700 and the install should not be more than $300 or so... personally i would go with tv's in the visors and headrest or replace the stock headunit with the the alpine iva-d900...

 

The more I hear about teh IVA-D900, the more I'm *drooling* to get it! BAD AZZ!!

If I choose to go with one where the sunglass holder is up on top, what kinda $$ can I expect to have sucked out of my wallet?
