Question 4+1 amp install problem

Dear gurus:

I'm an old, balding, happy owner of a TL-S--- happy EXCEPT with the sound system. So, I popped a couple of BAs in the front, and a Kicker 8" in the sub spot, and drove for a couple of weeks. Although much better, I wanted a little more oomph.

To keep it short:

Boght another pair of the BA AND a monster 4+1 channel Alpine pro-series MRD-F752 amp. I had it installed yesterday at a sound shop. Last night, while checking it out, I found they bridged the SW into the new amp, not using the SW channel at all! Do any of you guys know why they might do this? I know they had the rear seat out, and that THEY know the head has SW outs.............

Also-- now when I try to get traffic reports from Onstar it says it can't locate my vehicle. This happened immediately following the sound install.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on this, since I'm heading back to the store tomorrow to give them a pretty hard time about selling me an expensive 4+1 amp, then using it as a much less expensive 4 only.

Many thanks,
JOHN
