2004 TSX head unit hard wired or connectorized?
2004 TSX head unit hard wired or connectorized?
The center console headunit and HVAC button backlights have gone out in my car. Apparently this is a wide-spread problem, so my dealer had no qualms about replacing the center console even though i have aftermarket equipment installed.
i'm curious if the wire bundle coming from the head unit is connectorized or hard wired. i spliced a number of those wires and i don't want to have to re-solder everything when i get the center console replaced. anyone looked into this?
Thanks

i'm sure someone knows... eldude?
If there just going to replace the headunit then they most likely wont replace any wiring. They'll just unplug it from the rear and plug the new one in. Is that what you're asking?
All of the wires have plugs on the ends. Everything that connects to the center console has plugs.
