2001 Acura CL Bose Headunit not working

I have a 2001 Acura CL with a Bose system headunit with an in-dash 6CD Changer that needs to be fixed. The problem is, sometimes, the CD's get stuck inside and after trying to change them it reads ERROR and switches to FM.

I went around the problem getting to work by persistence but now it seems to be on ERROR for good. Anyone else have this problem? Any idea how much a new headunit will cost? And does anyone have a new one for sale?

If I can get it to work again, any hints on how to stop the problem from happening?

Much appreciated, thanks.

Get the blitzsafe adapter, plug it into the back of your head unit. Then get a headphone to RCA adapter, plug that between the blitzsafe and an mp3 player. Had the same problem with the same with the blose HU and that's what i did.

Common problem... no real fix except to replace the HU. I replaced the original on both CL s that I have owned.
