I've been reading threads and threads about all the different setups for Dom's unit, and before I go and do this on my own, I just want to make sure I have everything correct.

It seems like the easiest way to do the install would be to place the unit in the kick panel and tap power from the amp. I will place the dvd player in the storage compartment, so would I also be able to draw power for it from the amp?

My main question is about the audio. I know this has been covered many times, but I can't seem to find a detailed install on an 06 TSX. Since I do already have an AUX input in the console, would there be an easy way to use that signal while still being able to plug something into the input (as I have my iPod plugged in there). Or would the best way still be using the XM wires and the soundgate adapter like CJams did here: https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/finally-i-have-xm-my-auxillary-input-my-05tsexw-navi-312281/ i want to be able to keep XM, the already present auxiliary input, and also have audio from the dvd player.
