I'll make the run to the store again.
Also, the suggestion was made at the last BBQ to go for a drive before the BBQ so we can have some beers and not worry about keeping up with the "lead foots" out there.
Any of you So Cal people, please make suggestions if you want to do something else. It has been a while since the So Cal people have gotten together so Iridium and I (and maybe Kavex... Kavex you there? ) have thrown this idea together.

Iridium and I talked of doing the BBQ on the 28th instead. Would that be better for anyone/everyone?

We do it on short notice for three reasons:
1) Leaves less time for others to make excuses for not coming (especially you)
2) We aren't organized enough to plan that far ahead
3) Instant Gratification! :p

Green Box, Sid, & Kavex,
I would love to be there, but I'll be in Las Vegas. This trip I can't leave early. I have a big contract pending. Have fun racing and BBQ!
Ogolden1,
Well, have to race you next meet since now that you have your Comptech headers that you so call give little or(minimal) gains and your best bang for your buck Butt dynoed Jet Chip. I'm leaving the stock tires on for you, so that it is consitent from last race.

Sid,
Yes, the 28th of July would be manageable, but I would feel bad knowing that your making accomdations for me when everyone has probably planned for the prior date. I'll try to frequent the forum more often to watch for replies and updates on this topic.
Hey, just noticed that you had your Comptech sway bars installed 7/7/01. How do you like the new handling? Wait to you lower it! It gets better.

Iridium and I decided on this weekend today, so you really aren't causing much trouble. We don't have much more than this thread invested in this date. I was just thinking the sooner the better for a meet. Hell... we can do both dates. I don't care either way. It is still up in the air and I'm just looking for feedback from those in the area.

Sorry about that. I usually only have time to answer to my business e-mails and do not have much time to read topics on the Acura-cl forum. In turn, I am selective to which topics I read.

Hey... no problem. Don't apologize to me. I was just giving you the info you wanted. I do not expect you to read every post with my name attached to it. Sometimes it is a waste of time, but more often than not, I have something worth while to add. Hope to meet up soon and give you the "road test" complete with "hold on for your life"'s and "damn that was a close one"'s. </STRONG>

I traded the CL in on 7/4/01 for a Green TL-S. Need more room for the expanding family. Got a great deal for the trade in and for the TL-S. The dealer gave me $24,000 for the trade (the car had only 5100 miles) and I paid $29600 for the TL. Just couldn't pass up this deal.

Mine will be in the shop (getting a new tranny hopefully) so I'll be there in my rental. I'm gonna try and upgrade to something worthwhile. Otherwise, I'll be riding along with someone... or someone will be riding along with me (anyone wanna let me drive your car? :p Preferably one with headers, springs, and sways )
