In case any of you were wondering, I got my car back up and running on Thurdsday... Shifts like butter again... Took it on a road trip to Vegas as the first test and I made it back without a drop. Vigrin seals held up
But yeah, it was a B%*&# to drop and put in the new one. Paid off though, cost me 1800 for the tranny 45 for stall time and 24 total working hours... Chyeah!

but i gotta say. i do feel a lot more power and kick with single exhaust. i dono if its the single or is it cuz of no cat
but i asked a few people who havnt seen or paid attention to 2g tls. they couldnt tell that its supposed to be two. anyways. probably gna wash the car up tomorrow and then do a photoshoot.

i love photography when it involves other people and other cars. when it gets to my own. i get lazy. knowing the car will always be there

^ all high end power from no cat....
no back pressure..
no torque or low end power..
keep the cat or upgrade to a high flow cat to balance the power so you can keep some lower end and mid end power and you'll still have high end with the better flowing exhaust.

yea i have been looking into a high flow cat. any suggestions?
the reason why i went straight pipe, single exhaust
was at vegas a couple of days ago with friends. backed out of a parking lot into a useless hidden island.
missed the bumper, hit the duals (flowmaster 40s)
which pushed everything in a bit, causing middle pipe to drop and bend and the y pipe stopping barely 2cm away from sway bar.
towed it down to nearest muffler shop. which luckly was just down one block away from where i was.
