i think i can scout it a little better using google maps from a bird's eye view. i'm going to choose the back corner just because that's where there are probably going to be the least amount of cars so we can try and park together. i'll give scott a call when i get there and see what it looks like and how empty or full the lot is. there's really nowhere else along that strip of highway to put a group of cars...the only other options are to break up the group or park in a multi-story parking deck.

i really doubt it but it just depends on how full the lot is...hopefully that back end of the lot won't be full but i'll let you know how it looks when i roll in ahead of u guys. i don't normally park there when i'm at 3rd st promenade so i have no idea how full it's going to be knowing some of the past meets 50 ppl sign up and 10 cars will show

i'm just trying to think of a back up place in case the lot is full...it'll probably have to be the roof of a parking deck.

Hey wasupdog, can you ask the people that work at the entrance of the pier to cut us a deal (<$5) as we'll have a big group entering the lot. And make sure you let them know we'll be parking in the far left corner around 7ish.

Usually that part of the lot is empty around 7ish, but we'll never know till we get there. I think the parking structures are free after 5pm? Maybe you could check those as well.
