P.s. My wife is Viet and has the same last name as you, and i am Mostly white and part japanese so i know all about the Asian pride, but i don't like it when people exclude others because of race. And your comments are being racist. It shouldn't matter how many Viet people show up, everyone that comes is equally important. Again sorry if that is not your intention, but it's the impression that your giving.

Im guessing it was somewhere in Elk grove. I just want something in the means of where we can hang out, chit chat about our cars, mods, ideas and then take a little stroll and probably after the stroll come back to a meeting spot for some grub (if anyone is up for it) and part ways. And then all over again in a month or a few months (just to see what changes people have done to their cars.)

I really wanted this to happen. I have been working hard on my mods and stuff that other people don't have done. I'm also interested in looking at other peoples mods and finding help for things i'm still trying to locate. Let's make some type of meet for anytime between feb 10th and feb 20th. anytime inbetween. Or how about this friday or saturday? everyone free this friday evening or sometime saturday?

PM sent to klepto requesting location of spot they used to meet and some route ideas for drive
Lets set it as
This SUNDAY
approx 1pm meet -hang out-- welcome to get there early if you want
approx 2-3 pm depart for drive for those interested
At any point you can depart on own route
No one will be forced to go anywhere and we can all be home by dark.
Starting in the afternoon allows the coupled in the group to take their better half to Valentines Brunch and still come to the meet!

Here is what we use to do a while back. The meets were pretty consistent for a few years. Sometimes once a month!!
Here is the meet address...

9160 East Stockton Blvd
Elk Grove CA, 95624
We never actually met at Starbucks. We were in the same parking lot, where not a lot of people parked. We would meet there for a couple hours before going for a drive.
Here is a map..
I got familiar with the first run, never the 2nd part. The first run consisted of Willow Creek Road and Sutter Ione Road. That drive would take us to Glenn and Marlene's. A great little diner in Plymouth.
Another road that is nice, but with a bit more traffic, is Lathrobe road. This road will take you to Comptech. So, if you had something set up at Comptech, this would be a good road to drive on.
Just a side note.. On Sundays, the roads we drove have more traffic than Saturdays. We would normally hit the road by 11am to avoid traffic.

The basic plan of the meet and greet plus drive with optional lunch is just that.
Since we plan to meet (relativly) early and do a fun drive on some backroads where you can experiment with SS mode and your suspension mods, alcohol at the start of the day is a bad plan.
We have to be careful as a group travelling together- a bunch of nice Acuras going by attracts attention. Should one be involved in a conversation with LE Officers, its better to be clean.
As the drive goes past a place for lunch, you are free to stop and do whatever you want. Everyone is. You want a beverage, thats your call
And you can always make bar plans with the people you connect with.

Don't think i will be going on the fun run. or if i do i will be in the back. Sice I lowered the car on tein s-techs but couldn't afford new shocks, i still have stock shocks. And since my lovely wife drives the car also, she has not learned to slow down much more over speedbumps. sooooo now the shocks are blown and the car doesn't turn very well. I was going to post also anyone have shocks they are wanting to sell?

Just another FYI about the map I posted. The roads are in way better condition during the summer. They let them get bad during the winter season.

If you are going for a drive on these roads next weekend, I'd highly recommend a surveillance drive by someone earlier that week.
