Milwaukee Meet Wrap-Up Thread

Hi guys.

Just wanted to make a new thread to sum everything up and have people post pics, so we don't have to deal with the 3-4 other ones open already. The meet was great even though we only had a few folks show up. First of all, a HUGE THANK YOU to SaraWI for all the planning and heavy lifting she and her husband did. We couldn't have done it right without you.

Tony, you're going to have some sweet pics. Check your PM, I want you to e-mail me the full high-res versions if you don't mind.

Everyone else, it was very nice to meet you. Your cars look great, especially Tony4311 (makes me jealous) and Mr. Chad . I can't wait to see the pics. They should be pretty sweet. You Chicago guys missed out on a pretty good time.

Even my girlfriend (who's Corolla driver and huge Toyota fan) had a good time. She says "thanks and nice to meet everyone". So anyway, feel free to chat about how you thought the meet went, and post your pics here. Hope everyone got/gets home safe. See you guys around!

we had a great time. Thanks for puttin git all together sara. Even setting up prizes!
Always nice to finally meet people and put names to faces. It's too bad some people weren't willing to drive some more (79 miles for me according to the nav) it would've been nice to have more tsx's in the pictures.

I'll be uploading pictures soon. (thanks sean)
btw the video didn't work out. The wind noise was too loud to pick it up. It sounds great though.

oh yeah, next time we have to bring a barking kid to keep away the gulls.

I figured that might happen. Were you flooring it during that pass or not? I'm trying to figure out how much good the Injen actually does....

yeah I did but I waited until you were next to me if not almost past me so I could get a good shot so we can't really gauge by that.

next time we have to remember to bring a barking kid to keep the gulls away and not tell people that they can't park illegaly.
oh yeah is anyone else sunburned? I got REALLY tan/minorly burned.

Here are our pictures. I also need opinions on the plates. My g/f says it looks better to just blur then rather then erase some of them. What do you guys think?

Thanks SaraWI & Frank for setting this up, it was a great success and I had a great time. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and it's definetly one of the best meets I've been to.

I just got home & I'm gonna hit the sack soon....but before that, thanks Tony for the pics, they look great. I think the license plates erased look pretty good.

Oh yeah, if anybody is sending out high res pics, please send me a copy @: erojiji23@yahoo.com

Hey guys what's up, the drive back was long, but I eventually got home and crashed out (sleeping that is).
I'm hoping to get the film pictures I took developed soon via snapfish.com then you can all see the hosted pics.

I'm looking for my USB cable to get the fuji finepix shots up next.

Hey Clutchperformer, did you try out the detailer I know you'll love it.

SaraWI and gang, thanks for the gift of the scrub brush, I'm hoping to scrub up the floormats with it soon. I got some type of fallout on the car and I had to clay it, so I'll be waxing the car all week.

Next year I think we should have the meet closer to me putting 1029mi on the car round trip is tire some, get it? It's a bad pun.

Hey SaraWI when I got home Monday night the wife and I had some Texas Roadhouse via curbside carryout, I thought of the folks in Madison the entire time.

I'm missing the referance to the Madison people, but I'm still jealous of your ability to eat Texas Roadhouse anytime you want.

Chad, we had a good time hanging out with you and your sister, too! I know we're not terribly exciting, but I hope you at least enjoyed your trip! I learned a lot just listening to you. Side note: This man is very knowledgeable about these cars, people. I'm picking your brain from now on!! Thanks for that, too. It's rare that someone wants to talk cars as much as me.

Can't wait to see the pics-that was some camera!

Hey guys, just got my photo's via online from York Photo. Got a group shot or 2.
It's late, I've been out all week with customers, I should have the photos linked by tommorow. Else I could always give SaraWI access to my account and she could post the pics for viewing. Sorry for the teaser,

-MrChad.

Sorry to bring this thread back from 3 years of nothing but does anyone ever meet in WI anymore? I've lived in Madison for a year, had my TSX for about 5 months. Just curious who's out there nearby... I think I've seen a total of 2 TSX's out here that weren't being driven by 60yr old women.
