BBQ shelter can seat 175 (7 long tables @ 25peple per table) (per city guidlines) but It could probably hold more... how many people could be siting all at one time anyways??
PLUS we have 5-6 tables next to the shelter than can seat an extra 30 give or take.
Parking lot can hold an estimated 160-180... I lost count after 140.
There is another similar shelter across the stream, less than 200feet away, with its own lot if we need it. I will post up a charted skyview from google maps when I can.

anybody remember that huge car meet in pleasanton at the mall/play it again sports parking lot a few months ago? i know a few people here went to it. that got posted/advertised in so many places that over 350+ cars showed up, completely filling the lot O_O most of us bolted after the idiot mustangs arrived

This event should be strictly Acurazine members and family meet, maybe with a
FEW friends that drive different car type, but no other car club should be allow to attend. I'm sure the place can hold lots of people, but I and many others just want to have a meet that we can chill, hang out, talk to other members that we know on this board and become so call friend. If it's end up to advertise to other forums and other car clubs, it is pointless to have a meet call: All-Cali Acurazine Meet and defeat the purpose of the meet. I'm not discriminate other car clubs but with other car clubs around, the situation will be complex and as soon as someone doing some stupid thing such as burn out, cops can come and there will be no more fun. If it's end up to advertise and invite to other car clubs to come to this miss, I'll be the one who will not going.

No other car clubs Azine only. We want to meet the guys that we talk to on the forum do not go and advertise on any other forum because word spreads and sooner or later we will have dudes in riced out civics coming up and trying to get some stuff. Thats all we need is for the cops to come and all of us drive 2-6 hours to get there and we have to end up leaving because somebody was acting stupid my 2 cents

I agree with the Acurazine only deal. Most members here are gonna be responsible and mature (somewhat 
) so bad behavior is unlikely. There's no telling if members of other forums will act stupid and ruin it for everyone else.

Lols dont worry, everyone has to deal with the heat, heck i live in Fresno and it still hot as hell around that time. I agree it should be strictly acurazine and family.

I still think we should open up a thread where we can have a master list with the official, most up to date meet information, whether it be a page of azine, or a new thread. For example, the first post will contain all the up to date information, such as location, rules, and all the other details. This way we can update/edit the first thread to make it clear what has been decided that way everyone else doesn't have to go through numbers of pages to find out that we don't want other car clubs to come, or that we decided on this location instead...etc.
If an official site is needed, I don't have a problem dedicating a small part of web space on atlplab for the 2009 meet. Check out this link for example to see what I'm talking about.

We can also inform sponsors that they will have banner space on this page with 95% Acura enthusiasts visiting, and that may give them an incentive to sponsor our event.

wow, thats a hella long drive! glad you're coming out, but it will be 90 at least lol. we will be in a shaded area with fans and misters so it shouldnt be all too bad. woodward park is nice. the local news channels sponsor weekly concerts in the summertime and a lot of people go. people think we are crazy for doing fresno, but i guarantee that i, as well as the local aziners will make the drive worth it and the heat bearable.

I agree with people posting this on other sites... Please dont do it... It would be horrible if people who are actually active on this site dont get a parking spot after 4-8 hrs of driving... Cuz I would be really pissed if some bozo from hondatech took up so many parking spots and I can even get one...
