If you guys have anything that needs to be handled locally, let me know how I can help. There is a Costco right off the highway 101 on Los Osos Valley Rd exit about ten-fifteen minutes north of the park. If there are any last minute things that we need, that could be a good resource.

Allright, I just made the reservation for the Sparrow Picnic area at Oceano Community Park on Saturday, July 26
We still need a little more $$$ to meet the goal. Thanks again to all those who have contributed so far.
The permit and receipt are being mailed to me today.
Just a few rules will need to be followed, and people need to be responsible while we BBQ. No alcohol, no amplified sound (so no blasting your stereos or reving your cars because this park is in the middle of a neighborhood), and the main thing is to clean up. Put garbage in the garbage containers instead of leaving it on the tables or on the ground.
This will be a fun BBQ event, and after all the eating we'll head to the beaches or whatever else is planned.
