Hi all, just noticed last night that my car has this low humming sound whenever I give it a little gas around 2k rpm with any speed above 60-65mph. Once I past 2k, the noise went away. This does not happen with city driving speed. Anyone has similar noise? TIA!
this is on a 23 awd aspec.

Coming from the engine. Yes, it does sounded like those annoying humming sound when you added an external subwoofer and not disconnecting the anc. But this only happened with higher speed like above 60mph. But if my rpm is already above 2k, there won't be any noises with increasing rpm. My anc are unplugged front and back as well.

 

use the paddles and downshift a gear or 2 to be over 2K RPM's at the same speed, does the sound change or stay the same?

How many miles on your car? Are you feeling any vibrations when at a redlight or when driving in your seat?

 

I only noticed it when accelerating toward 2k rpm. I didnt hear any when downshift so the rpm jump to and over 2k. It only happened on freeway at high speed. Local speed doesn't happen at all.
Car is a little over 6k miles. Usually at idle, car is smooth but every now and then, it does shake a little.
