Car entry after Remote start

My '25 TLX came with a Remote start option. When I used it, sometimes I could open my doors right away, but couple of times I was locked out and I had to turn the engine down to enter my car.

Found a lot of videos how to use the Remote Start option, but they all stoped a the engine running.

Nobody showed the correct procedure to get into the car.

Anybody has more info about the issue?
thanks,

Touch the handle and open the door.

That is what I do.

It happens to me 30% of the time. I figured they would've fixed that on the newer models but I guess not. I've read posts about people experiencing the same issue on the Acura subreddit and no one has gotten a resolution to it

After the car has remote started all you have to do is grip the door handle with the keyfob in your pocket and the door should open.

Is your phone in the pocket with your key fob? Problem solved.

Agreed. If my fob and phone are physically touching then entry, or auto-locking, will not work. If I put my wallet between then all is good. Figuring that out was a week of Frustration.

Correct, any interference eats the connection and standing too far away to the backside of the door will not work too.

Now I think of my phone as my travel Faraday box.
