Phone issue

Had a new one today.

Made a call in the car via the hands free. Got the person's voicemail.

They call me back 2 min later. Car rings, but gives me no option to answer it via the infotainment system. I pick it up with the handset, and the car continues to ring through the entire call. Then it did the same thing again for another call shortly thereafter.

I can't believe how bad Acura got infotainment in these cars.

Is this via CarPlay/Android Auto or straight Bluetooth?

straight Bluetooth.

My car play hasn't worked in about 4 days...

When the call comes in, you should get a notification in the middle of the little screen where your analog gauges are. You're supposed to toggle to the left or to the right to accept the call or hang up.

Why isn't CarPlay working? Did you try a different cable?

Thats part of the problem... the notification didn't pop up and the car gave me no way to answer it. Had to go to the phone itself to answer the call.

Haven't tried a different cable yet. This cable was not an issue for car play in my last 2 cars.

Has it ever worked properly? Did you switch to a new phone recently?

Has worked fine since I bought the car in Feb. No phone changes, no recent software updates on either the phone side or the car side to cause this problem. Hopefully a one time glitch, but I feel like this system glitches in new ways every couple weeks.
