I just got my VM4500 today and I love it. The only thing is when I try to download ringtones or anything at all from the phone it tells me "LOGIN ERROR: Application error. We regret this inconvenience. Please try again later."

Is the system just down? Or is there a way I can fix it? Any help would be appreciated

Also, is there a place on the Sprint website that I can manually download the ringtones and have them sent to my phone, kind of like nextel's Iden update? I can browse the web on my phone, I just can't get to the download section :'(.

 

and also I just realized that it doesn't vibrate. I set it to vibrate and everything and it still doesn't do it. Is there some setting I am overlooking that allows vibrate or something? Maybe I got a lemon :'(

 

You might have rec'd a bad phone, where did you get it...ebay? When you use the side keys to put the phone in vibe or vibe+1 or vibe+4, the phone should vibrate when it rings aloud together.

Also I downloaded something today, so the vending machine is not broken. Did you sign up for PCS Vision?

 

well my downloads just started working, so I guess maybe I wasn't in the system yet but I still don't have vibrate. I picked up my phone from Radio Shack, new, so I figured that it would be fine, I guess I have to take it back :'(. Thanks for the info

actually it is working, for some reason it started working today... but whatever at least I can enjoy it now

 

Hey u got it from radioshack should have let me know i work at the SHACK. Yea kewl phone but get ur ring tones from www.3gupload.com or got to 3gforfree on ur phone through VISION

 

Thanks Blades! hmmm you work at radio shack? Hook me up with a car charger! hahaha jk . How do you get that stuff to your phone? I signed up for an account just now but couldnt find the place it explains how to use it. Also, is it legal? I think it said unlimited downloads for $9.99 or something.
