Lightbulb FAKRA Cable

Received a letter from Acura, regarding the above, replacement for the infotainment system
Interesting, because even though I DON'T have crackling speakers
my Acura GPS, sometimes goes haywire
Wonder if it's interrelated?
Anyway, will probably replace at my next service; it's FREE
Thoughts?

FARKA cable are the fiber optic ones that carry all the data through the car. For whatever reason, Honda/Acura switched to MOST bus system which has been giving issues like this since 2003 with BMW and the 7-series. I went through 3 head units and 2 amps due to the static from the fiber optics in my 7-series from the time period.

Got the same letter. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I very much doubt the dealer will do it for free unless there are symptoms of a problem.

You're correct, thanks! I skimmed it. Did not have it with me when I posted.
