TL-S with Bose Stereo

My sister has an older Acura with a Bose system and her speakers are 2 ohm and I was wondering if our Acura is 2 ohm also or if it is a 4 ohm system. I haven't taken anything apart yet and I am sure it would tell me on the back of the speaker but I was waiting to get that far when I had new speakers.

Cool

I cant really seeing it being much different. The speakers in the new(Er) Tl's 04-0X also have 2 Ohm. So my guess would be that ours are also 2 Ohms. I think ours are rated around 180 watts. so what is that? like 30 watts to each speaker, then 60 watts to the sub? To bad this "bose" sound system did not come with tweeters! Hope this helps!!

trying to replace the speakers from 2ohm to 4ohm has a major sound difference. you only get about 1/2 the out of a 4ohm compared to a 2 ohm system. I have tried to replace 2ohm speakers with 4ohm and I was dissapointed with the outcome.
