Blind Spot monitor position

I got a 2022 TLX Advance, which I like it pretty much.
Some minor issues like a door rattle and front speakers rattle that I'll fix at some point.
The only think that I really hate, is the position of the blind spot monitor light. It's on the pillar and not on the side mirror.
When I drive I look at the mirror, not at the pillar. This is really annoying especially for the left side mirror.
I'll love to replace the mirror for one that has the light in the mirror...
I was also thinking about changing the little bulb for something more brilliant.
Idk... just bad.
Thanks you.

Could your door rattle be caused by the seat belt mount? Try holding the mount while driving over uneven ground.

I’ve lived with this blind spot location since the 2018 MDX!

I know... it just bothers me to look twice, one for the mirror and then the pillar... it's just annoying.
Besides that, the car is amazing.
For the rattle, I'll remove the door panel and check it by myself.
Thank you!!!!

Acura opened my door panel and found nothing.

Recently got the idea to hold the seat belt mount while driving over uneven ground and confirmed no more rattling!

Just wanted to save you the trouble of opening the door panel!

You can't see both in one look???

It's a LIGHT, you should be able to notice if it illuminates or not while looking at the mirror. How long are you gazing into the side view to see nothing but what's in the mirror itself?

My 2018 Accord had lights in the mirror, the TLX has em inside. It makes no difference to me.

But...I see the pillar BEFORE I see the mirror...so prefer it on the pillar!

I like it on the pillar. First car I've owned with a blind spot light. Keep the goofy clutter off my mirror. I like that's it's there but not intrusive. I even find it distracting when I'm passing other cars and I see their side view mirror light up. I see a yellow light come on in my peripheral and think it's a blinker and they're about to come into my lane.
