Seat Entry/Exit Movement

Hi all,

Has anyone had issues with their entry/exit movement on their TLX's? Mine was working perfectly fine until I started really messing around with and adjusting the driver's side seat. Now, it's not moving at all when I exit/enter the vehicle. I checked in the settings to make sure that the exit/entry seat movement was enabled and it was.

Is there something that I am overlooking? I really liked having it move back when I turned off the car and opened the door.

Thanks all!

Check that your seat memory position button is lit up. I think that feature works with the seat memory buttons and if the seat memeory is not in use it might mess up the “entry/exit” feature. Something easy to check.

Thanks for the thoughts. It is lit up on "memory 1". It was working absolutely fine until I started totally adjusting the seat.

Is there an adjustment point where the seat is too adjusted and then it doesn't move? I know that sounds dumb, but I don't know why else it just stopped working.

If I can't figure it out, I have to go to Acura in a couple of weeks to have another puddle light replaced, and I can ask them then. Just annoying!

If you set your seat all the way back, then it's not going to move when you exit.

So, not sure what is going on, but today it started working again. My infotainment system did some type of update and rebooted. Ever since then, it's been working again.
