Drivers Seat?

Does anyone have problems with being uncomfortable only in the drivers seat ?

left side of the seat seems to be digging into my hip all the time and is uncomfortable after 20 minutes of driving ?

had to sit in the passenger side over the weekend and that seat did not both me.

i am to the point where i am thinking about getting rid of it only 3weeks old...

yeh taking your wallet out of your back poket realy helps, i used to always carry it in my back pocket, but as i put more things into it, the more it affeted my sitting comfort.

I too do find the TL seats to be a little on the hard side. I can never seem to sit in one spot with out moving my seat or myself around every so often. Lumbar support helps also.

Were is it hitting you? You said "left side of the seat" Like right at the front edge of the seat? Or on the side? That's the only place I every have trouble with.... the front of the seat in mean.

Driver's Seat

It is not the wallet. The support on the left side, especially the side bolster, is made of very poor foam support--soon, you will see the leather overlying that padding crease and crack because of the poor support and motion of the leather. This problem occurs in the TL and the company won't do anything about it.

No more Acuras for me.

My wallet is right side and OK BUT... I usually have a "lump" of spare change in my left back pocket. If it is all towards the left side (outboard side of me ass) it will definitely create a hot spot from the side bolster. Not sure if you carry change this way but I think it backs up what other have said about wallets, etc. Anything in your pockets or lumped up under their, like coat tails, could be a factor.

I think that Acura should just copy some seats from Audi ! I get a sore back in my 05 TL after about 35 minutes no matter which way i adjust the seat. The solution for me was to buy an Obusform seat support. This should not be necessary in a near-luxury car. The seats in my last car, a 1994 Accord coupe , were just fine!

By the way .... i have 16 K km on my TL ... no problems, no rattles. :-)
