Replacing window glass!

Hey all,

So, I am having Acura replace my driver’s side window glass on my 23’ Type S under warranty. Unfortunately, I have a nasty scratch that wasn’t visible until my windows were tinted. Anyway, to my surprise, they actually agreed to replace it.

Are there any major concerns to be had with them pulling apart my door panel? I always get nervous when the dealership starts yanking apart my car.

I just had my windows tinted after I took delivery and they scratched my passenger side. It was pretty cheap and simple. Factory glass was readily available. The windshield is a very expensive PITA, but the sides are no big deal apparently.

It sounds like the tint shop doesn’t laser cut as they claim and instead used a blade which scratched the window. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of this.
