yesterday night my car and my friends got bb gunned and my pasenger side window shattered but i had tint so it stayed on. my friends back window shattered. anyone know a place near el monte-rosemead where i can get my window replaced for cheap

 

Replacing a side window (as long as it's the ones you can roll down) is easy enough to do yourself. Just get the glass from the dealer, take off the door panel, and you can see it's only held onto the power window thingy by two bolts. Very easy to do.

Now if it's a fixed window, like the front or back or rear sides (the little ones), I'd go to a glass shop.

My car got broken into about two months ago and they broke the passenger window. Called Glass Doctor, they came to the car while I was at work, fixed the window, and they also dealt with the insurance company which fully covered the raplacement. Awesome company to deal with, I'm pretty sure they're national too.

five star auto glass inc. i found the place in the phone book like five years ago i think it was in monterey park on montery pass road but im not to sure if its still there but yeah to find a place just look in the phone book and ask them for prices and go the the cheepest place by the way sorry to hear about your car i know how it feels when people do ignorant things like that

That's messed up that some one will BB your car. Most of those glass replacement places are about the same. I think I used Safelite a while ago and they were pretty good.

yeah i looked it up online and called like 5 places and this one was the cheapest

Got my car broken into....my front passenger of my 02 TL was broken. I asked aroudn on the forums....Seems that OEM glass maker PPG is the same people who make the glass for Acura. You can find cheap places that will do it for 100-150...but they use "regular" glass. I got mine done for $178, they came to my work place..did it in about 30 mins. vacuum and install. Diamond Auto Glass / Triamph Auto Glass were refered to me when I call numbers i found on Yahoo! Yellow pages "Auto Glass Across America" 800-421-1414

 

since i paid 100 i got regular glass. so what kinda glass did you get
