Bumper Plugs!

Hey all,

So, I think I’m going to remove my front plate on the Type S. The car looks so much cleaner without it, and I hate how it covers a good portion of the intercooler. With that being said, I think I’m going to place an order on Bumperplugs.com for a set of plugs. Has anyone purchased from this company? If so, is the paint match spot on?

Also, it says that you need to open up the current hole to 9/32”. If I do so, would I be able to find a screw to fit that size hole should I have an issue with getting pulled over for it?

Last year I moved from a state with front license plates to a state without, and I got a pair of bumper plugs for my SO's Accord. The color match (Modern Steel Metallic) looks good to me.

when i got mine a couple years back they asked if I wanted them to install the front plate, I told them not to. I honestly don't even have the inspection sticker on my car, its in my center console.

I would have opted for that, but they already had the front bumpers drilled on the Type S’ at the dealership.. guess I could have said I wanted a new bumper, but I can just pop-in the bumper plugs. No biggie!

Sorry all to bring this topic back to life. Figured a search was more appropriate then a new topic. I just got a 2023 TLX last month and missed completely that one of the previous owners had the front plate bracket on as the dealership did an amazing job of waxing and the holes which are super small. I found bumperplugs.com yesterday and looking to get a set for my Apex Blue.

Cwatt, does your SO still have the Accord? I am curious, the paint on the plugs still holding, like no un-matching fading or cracking to the bumper? They still holding firm in the bumper, not allowing dirt to get behind it? Thanks!
