Exclamation Removing Bumper Plugs

Hey guys,

This is pretty pathetic, but I have to go to court tomorrow because I got a front plate ticket. I need to put my bracket on and I can't seem to pop the bumper plugs out. I have been trying to get it out for an hour or so and it just wont come out. I am pretty sure there is some trick to this but I just can't get it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Reach up under the bumper and pinch the 2 tabs on each one. They should pop right out.

yep, just go in from behind. If you can't reach or pinch the tabs, you can just poke them out w/a screwdriver too.

hey.... laugh all you want, but it's worth the money imo. taking those damn bumper clips off are beastly. it took me like 2 hours to get them off of just the front when i was doing my lip kit without the pliers. and then my brother walks over after i got everything off and gives me the pliers that i didnt know he had and he was like.... oh these might help lol.

Yeah ummm i think you got something confused. he's talkin about the bumper plugs for the front plates. he doesn't want to remove the bumper just the plugs

^yea.. the plugs are just plastic inserts, not clips. The only reason theyr hard to get out sometimes is cus it's difficult to pry them out from the front w/out gouging up the paint since they fit so tightly
