Bumper plugs

Ok so I haven't seen plugs in anyone's bumpers but I have holes where the front plate bracket was mounted.

Do they even make plugs for the CL? Sorry if this thread has been beaten to death but I couldn't find it anywhere when I searched

no plugs. If you see holes in the face of the bumper, then your bumper was drilled. Mine was drilled too but i plan to put the bracket on to cover the holes.

If you can manage it....make the hole a lil bigger, and pop in 2 of those bumper/fender liner clips! wouldnt look bad in MHO! Better then having 2 holes

Interesting? My bracket was bolted underneath, to the top inside of the "mouth" on the front bumper. When I removed it I was happy to see no holes but the bracket did create a nice groove in the paint all the way around were the bracket was. Looks as if it was acting like a bumper guard every time someone backed into it.
Why do you have holes? Bumper must have been repaired or replaced at one time or another?

There's a built in hole under the top rear of the bumper right under the grill. It's hidden. This is so holes DO NOT have to be drilled. So if someone drilled holes in teh bumper for a plate, they are COMPLETE IDIOTS!!!!!!

Exactly what I was thinking. Like they missed those holes so they drilled new ones!

Ya its bolted down there but there were also two screws that, when I removed, I saw holes in the bumper

Ya there was a groove on the front of my tl too, hopefully when I take the bracket off of the cl they aren't too bad

ya just about a half inch. I just like how bumper plugs are only about 1/4 and blend well with the bumper

Go to Lowes/Home Depot and look through the platic plugs drawers where they have the specialty screws. There are some that are a perfect fit (maybe a littler bigger, depending what size screws the stupid dealer used). Rough them up with some sand paper, wipe them down and use touchup paint and they blend right in. A clear coat couldn't hurt either, but I never got around to it. Had them on for about a year, until I started getting pulled over for not having a front plate, so I put it back on.
