Hello- I’m passing this along so others who have perfume sensitivities may find some relief!

I purchased a 2022 Acura TLX A Spec in May. The car is only 2 years old w/4,000 miles. The car looks great and smelled great. I test drove it twice and love it. I purchased the car and drove about 8 hours back home (second Acura I’ve owned). A few days leter….. I found an odd perfume smell that I didn’t notice before. I first thought would dissipate, given a good cleaning and time. We’ll I was wrong. The prior owner or car dealer placed a nasty little Wonder Wafer Lemon freshener deep under each driver and passenger seat (above the floor vents). These stink (do not smell like lemon).

My wife has perfume sensitivities (natural leather smell is not an issue). However, almost every product made today has “Fragrance” added (look at the labels -- even on auto cleaning car soap etc.). It can cause many issues such as sinus problems, headaches etc. The fragrance from the wonder wafter seeped into the carpet under the seats.

The SOLUTION: I found 3 products that have all but eliminated the ‘fragrance’ I found. After several cleaning of the entire carpet and under the seat area.

1)OdoBan, 2) Zorbx Oder Remover, and 3) RMR Extreme Hunting Scent Eliminator.
After about 30 days, and a good bit of cleaning, the car is 95% better

make sure to replace the cabin filter and sanitize the A/C system; the fragrance gets stuck in the a/c filter and vents sometimes.
