Angry Seat Trouble

So with the exception of my AC dying 8 months ago I have been very happy with my TL up until today. My wife and I were at Disney yesterday, it started to rain (a lot), ran to the car, and long story short got the seats soaking wet. Figured it shouldn't be a problem, but guess I was wrong. This is what I found this morning... And the worst part is, I just crossed 50K miles driving home to Miami. Yes, this is my fault, but do you think Acura will help me out here?

first pic looks like the leather was shanked with something and have to have the leather replaced. The other pics look like with some cleaning and conditioneing, they will be as good as before. BUT in the second pic, the leather lloks like it melted together in one spot near the side bolster. Acura might replace the skins for you, but only if they think it was a manufactuing defect such as the one where the leather melted together.

Thanks for the thoughts... I called my dealer today and they said they would take a look at it. Guess it can't hurt.

Ouch, sorry about the seats. Looks like you had spikes on your belt.

What did you do- turn the seat heaters on with water on the leather?
