Trunk won't open

I seem to be locked out of my trunk on my 2016 TlX.
The push button on the driver side is not working.
The glove compartment switch is in the on position.
FOB will send signal and can hear actuator? moving.
I tried using the manual key method, behind the rear of the back row seat and still no go.

I'm out of options at the moment.

Is there an access to the trunk from the back seats? From the rear coffee cup holders ?
Thoughts ?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like you need a trip to your dealer.

Thanks.

I did get figure it out. It's one of those low odd possibilities.

As a last resort before heading to the dealer, while pressing the FOB I tried to lean down on the trunk, and immediately pulled it up after.
It released.. haha

Turned out that in my rush to drive away earlier during the day, the end of the strap of my backpack got caught in the locking mechanism when I threw in my backpack in the trunk. It jammed the mechanism tight, though it's probably not locked?

Anyway, got lucky on that one.

Thanks again.

Thanks again.
