Retaining water in plastic panels under the hood

I opened the hood today after a rain and saw puddles of water around the indicated areas on the pic below.
It looked like the plastic was just sort of contoured that way to hold a little puddle of water. 2018 v6 fwd aspec, if it matters. I would think all tlx's would have this issue though.
Just seemed sort of weird to me. I would guess it would have taken at least a day or so to dry up if the car didn't move. Will my tlx go green if I don't drive it enough?

Have a 2015 and haven't noticed any water pool up in those areas. I'll have to check after I wash the car or when the rainy season is back.

Yup. That's where it puddles on my 2015. I always wipe down under the hood after a car wash and apply a vinyl protectant periodically.
