Just noticed last night that the puddle light on my passenger mirror is not working. Not sure if all models have those, but when you approach the car at night, the interior lights come on and the LED lights on the bottom of the mirrors illuminate the ground. Appears to have stopped working. Defective LED light, I guess?

 

Yep. It should work on both sides.

 

Lots of problems with TLX, Acura should be providing extended warranties with car. People are not going to be happy when bumper to bumper warrantee expires and repairs comes out of pocket .

 

Really! A blown bulb contributes to lots of problems and is justification for suggesting free extended warranties. We view the situation differently. Yes, first run or first year production vehicles (any brand) will tend to have more problems problem but these typically show up during the first year and are fixed under warranty or via a recall. Post warranty problem are generally overall life and quality of parts.

 

I think it's a little early to say there are "lots of problems" and "Acura should be providing extended warranties with car."

You need to remember what you see/hear reported here on AZ represents a very very small percentage of overall car owners and being that we are "enthusiasts" tend to be a little more in tune (aka critical or complimentary) with the cars.

 

I didn't realize we all had puddle lights. I thought we had to pay for them if we wanted them or got a better package.

 

It's only on the Advance/Elite.

 

I'm on my 3rd puddle light on the drivers side! Changed under warranty. I'm sure this will be a costly repair once it goes out of warranty............
