NAV software upgrade - problems

I took my perfectly running TLX into the dealer for the free NAV software upgrade. After a 2 hour wait (was told it would take that long) the TLX was ready and out front waiting for me.

I started it and immediately noticed the engine ran rough and 7-9 warning messages were scrolling in the MID.

The technician came out and said they will need to look at it again and contact Acura HQ.

I now have a RDX loaner and will update you all on the resolution.

Wow! Just for a NAV update and not the ECP Update?

That is scary.

I am sure they did more than just apply the Navi update.

I would think and hope so.

I thought the NAV update upgraded the software that controls display and options in an ELS system. I could see an ECP update causing this issue, but I would hope not.

Update - I picked up my TLX and all is fine. The service advisor said they "did a hard reset on vehicle to clear all codes"

I do notice the NAV seems a little faster and less pressure is needed to select items. I see some new choices in the options but they said it may take 1-2 days for all of them to be fully visible.
