First time Acura TLX owner needs help
Hope I am posting this right, new to the forum...
I recently purchased my first Acura, a 2017 TLX with the 3.5 V6. It was purchased through Carvana. Great looking car, brisk acceleration, drives well around town. Now has 47K miles with, per Carvana, new tires that were put on at 45k.
The problem I'm having is highway driving, it's causing me to become really disappointed with this vehicle. In fact I hate driving it on the freeway, because at varying speeds, sometimes 55, 65, or 75, the car vibrates noticeably. It feels like the whole body is lightly shaking, I can feel it and I can see the passenger seat shake. Interestingly the steering wheel doesn't shake, so it doesn't seem like it's a tire issue (tires are relatively new). At 75MPH, my water bottle in the cup holder is rattling against the sides of the holder.
Could this be somehow related to the VCM issue I've read about on this website and others? Or something totally different? I don't know what to do, I feel like trading the car in, mostly out of frustration. But I'd rather keep it if I could find an answer to this problem.
Thank you.

someone will have to inspect the car for the motor mounts and drive shaft issues.
Thanks for replying, I forgot to mention it's the FWD model not AWD. Do you know if there's anything obvious I could check for re: motor mounts, or something only a qualified Acura tech would be able to see?

I suggest you start with checking the wheel balance, specially since the tires were recently changed, They may have improperly balanced them or used an uncalibrated wheel balancer. Try a reputable tire shop that uses a road force machine.
