Hey all,

I recently lost my "driver 1" key fob, and i'm rocking with the spare fob for now.
I bought a new key from here, and a Launch x431 (honda) in hopes of programming the key myself.
I've tried several times so far, and every time the programming procedure fails.

troubleshooting steps I took:

• I verified that the FCC and the model n° of the new key matches the original key (I quadruple-checked that it IS the right key to my car)
• I've tried every option under "immobilizer/ key programming" in the diagnosis tool (add 1 key, rewrite keys, all keys lost)
• I've watched every video out there about pergrogramming Honda/ Acura keys (not that many of), i couldn't find anything that relates to 2019 TLX's

-Going to a locksmith/ dealership is an option, but I'd rather spend the money on a tool and work on the issue myself (i get to keep the tool for any future diagnostics).
-I'm considering getting this programming tool to see if it works.
I have a 2019 Acura TLX Advance (3.5L v6 SH-AWD). The key fob has 5 buttons, similar to the picture below.
Any ideas/ recommendations for other diagnosis tools?
