Hey all,

I just had the two error messages "electric parking brake problem/Emissions system" both pop up on my dash just yesterday as I was driving home.
Car has around 120,xxxkms.
It still drives absolutely fine - I don't notice any issues nor hear anything abnormal with it.

Just wondering if anyone has dealt with these error messages in the past on the 1st gen model and what did you do to fix it?

The dealer said there's a good chance it could be a software update needing to be done as they've had a few of these and nothing major had come from it.

Any and all advice is much appreciated!

Check for codes using a scanner.
Check for a leak in the fuel tank filler neck. Seems to be fairly common according to the some posts online.
Check for bad battery. How old is your current one? If original, you are advised to replace it - bad batteries in these cars cause several electrical gremlins to crop up.
