Very Similar Story but different outcome: 2016 Acura TLX Tech- Driving 3-4 hours into a trip....I had power and computer issues also....power/control was lost or minimal - all lights came on. This only happened twice and ONLY during long drives when I was using an inverter in the cigarette lighter adapter to power a Dash Camera/or external GPS-(I dont like the Acura built in GPS). I had to pull over and wait 20 to 30 minutes. I then restarted the car and it reset the computer and the lights went off. In both cases I took the car to the dealer the next day they scanned it did not see any codes....so they ran any software updates and reset it and sent me on my way. I am guessing in my situation the inverter I have drew too much current and caused the computer errors

First time this happened was 2018 Nov and 2nd time was 2020 Dec. My car is now at 86K miles. I bought her from the dealer she was a dealer service vehicle...I have had her since 5K miles. She drives/rides great!
