Switching to Sirius from XM

I have a subscription to Sirius radio and get a good rate because of my long term membership with them. In the sales brochure of the TLX it said that it has SiriusXM. Well now I find out that it comes with an XM tuner so if I want to use it, I have to change my subscription to XM (same company!!) and pay the new fees which are much higher (almost double!). I called AcuraLink and they said that you cannot change to a Sirius tuner. Does anyone know if this is possible (aftermarket?)

I would think you could strongarm XM into cutting you a deal to switch

The only way this company listens is if you threaten to quit. Works for me every time.
