Radar Detector V1

I have a 2015 advanced and as you know there are tons of safety features on this thing and most use radar. My question is for someone running a V1 or any other radar detector. I want to upgrade my V1 to help eliminate some of the Blind spot detection and ACC chirping but i want to make sure people are happy with their V1 and have little to no chirping, because now mine is going crazy. A side note i do not run sweeps but i ordered the bluetooth adaptor yesterday to help.

I am using the V1 on my TLX Advance SH-AWD and am very happy. I also installed the brown out booster, blue tooth unit, and the other device that lets me set the speed below which the detector mutes. I was instructed to turn off the rear facing K-band detector so as not to interfere with the BSM.

You're welcome.
Be sure to buy the 3 aforementioned modules from Valentine One directly when you send you V1 back for the software update. The brown-out-booster is absolutely required because of the TLX's stop-start feature. Although I've connected the blue-tooth module and downloaded the V1 app for my iPhone, I haven't yet "played-around" with the app, which gives lots more info than the V1 itself, and I understand that it also allows for remote programming of the V1.

for sure ill get all of those, i was curious about the brown out booster but now i know.

Also programing the V1 is incredible. You are able to target certain signals and set the V1 up in different ways. I have attached a link you may have seen before, but i find it really cool. Just click on your state and it will tell you what bands police are running and sometimes frequency. I also found the channel TravelCam1111 on youtube to help a lot.
