Door light power wire access?

In order to install footwell LED strips, I would like to access the power wire for the door lights under the dash.

Does anyone know where I would find it, and the color?

TIA

There's a plug for that!

Acura has provided a plug just for this application. It is taped to a loom under the kick panels.

It is taped with black tape, and has an empty male plug installed.

Cut the tape, and remove the empty female from the plug.

I happened to have some plug pieces, so soldered and inserted pins in the "false" plug provided. Yellow wire is the positive.

Now I have LED strips in the footwells that light with the courtesy lights, and fade out just like the overhead lights!

With the help of Matt at Idlestopper, I found that what we need to connect to this plug is a "connector". I found that AliExpress has both ends for cheap.
