If you look very closely, there is a TLX GT in the picture ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

So they give the TLX GT clear corners, but not the Galpin? (even though Acura had a hand in creating it)
They should've done a crowd-sourced TLX, or at least asked AZ for input

From Autoguide: "While you can’t buy any of these parts there is one part of the new TLX SEMA concept that will soon be available to car shoppers: its paint.
The new Andaro Blue shade is a new signature color for the brand and will be offered on future Acura models."

'"We need to say that Acura's a performance brand," Dave Marek, global creative director of Acura design, told Autoblog'
Maybe if they had released a TLX-S all of this wouldn't be "needed"

that's very cool... at least they're trying new things. lol

front needs some sort of lip spoiler to balance out the look. looks to high in the front compared to the rest of the car. a black chin spoiler would really complete the look imho

Wow a lot of you are pretty picky, lol. I thought I was pretty picky myself. Seems only a handful like it?
I think this car looks amazing!! Sure it's not perfect; the diffuser could be toned down and spoiler is just a tad tall. I would have added some DRLs like a GT-R or low profile fogs (better than the stock ones) in the side recesses of the front bumper because it looks kinda plain without anything.
But come on EXHAUST TIPS! Isn't this what everyone was crying for (including myself). Would have liked to see round quads in there. But hey, WAY better than what they started out with. NOTHING. I hope they did a catback with it. They did a unique color on it. This body kit is light years ahead of the OEM excuse for a bodykit. Lowered but not too low and tucked.
Dare I say I like THIS car even more than the prototype! Yes the prototype was nice but frankly it had a bit too much funky chrome going on on the bottom of the front/rear bumpers than for me. On this car chrome is eliminated everywhere; just as it should be on a sport variant. Best modding effort seen so far IMO.
I'm not saying the stock TLX should come like this, but surely an option for a Type-S/sport variant could have looked like this...Hello Acura?....
Now about that 6MT.....

That blue should be offered as a stock color if they ever come out with a type-s version.

I really hope Acura is over their "add-on/stick on fad" with the bodykits from all these years. The front of the OEM TLX bodykit looks bad because of this reason. (The back of the bodykit forget it, no saving that lol)
But look at the front of this car, the sides of the front bumper are basically the same profile. This is how the OEM should have looked, molded in. It looks more OEM than OEM.
People will say 2 different bumpers is too much for production costs. Huh? The 3GTL had freakin 3 different bumpers and 3 different bodykits. Why??? If they plan on the next Type-S it should have an A-Spec kit molded in. Why not? That's how the Germans do it on their performance variants. Look at MB and BMW so smart. Luxury and Sport trims. (Of course AMG //M takes is more extreme) Makes more sense and looks better.

So I called up GAS and spoke to a manager there asking about the viability of a production kit. We jawed a little bit about it and it sounds like they are looking into it. They got a lot of positive feedback on the showcar.
It also sounded like there might be complications due to Acura being involved with the showcar.
I'll follow up in a little while...

^ Since it probably doesn't meet their own safety and design standards, being associated with it makes Acura feel partially responsible for it.
As tacked-on as the OEM kit looks, it still flows better with the car's original lines and likely appeals to more TLX buyers than the racy GAS kit. Which is strange given their advertising of the TLX GT, and yet still no word on a Type-S
