Whatever you do, don't get rid of the grille or add exhaust tips. Keep the essence of Acura ... Acura.

Hopefully they'll put some effort into it this time and not just slap some wheels, coilovers, a bunch of stickers, and some Pepboys parts on it and call it a day like they did last year with the RLX

Supercharged Acura ILX, VIP-Style RLX Unveiled at 2013 SEMA Show - Motor Trend WOT
The VIP-style Acura RLX gives the luxury sedan a different appeal, with carbon fiber exterior accents and 21-inch wheels from AVS. Prototype Tein Street Flex coil overs make possible the lowered RLX, which has a big brake kit and an Evasive Motorsports exhaust system with four titanium exhaust tips. Inside, you'll find custom neck pillows with a Jordan Brand-inspired elephant print.

I love it. They painted the shield black to minimize its offensiveness too a la 4G

It is just a sema build like the ilx and rlx. Chances are most everything will be prototype.

I can only hope they end up with something that is street legal. Otherwise whats the point other than to bring back the bad memories of the prototype and how our hopes got crashed when we saw the production model...

^I don't know if its the lighting, but that exhaust thing at the rear doesn't blend very well with the shape of the rear bumper. Up close and black&white looks good, but from a distance something is wrong.
On the positive side, the wheels look way better than anything Acura currently offers.
(Waiting to see the real thing at SEMA next week...)
