Issues with speaker?

Hi all,

I have a 2018 tlx with a speaker that sounds bad when driving. I can max the car when parked and it’s not there? Any help would be approximated to prove to techs that I need a replacement. Svc in on high and bass and sub maxed. Ask me anything about this issue as I would like help.

Answer is, drop the car off and let the tech take it for a ride. Or, go with the tech for a 10 minute test drive. I would see maybe if its due to bumpy roads or something. Drive around the area near your dealer and see what streets it has issues on, then go take an Acura tech for a test drive and show them

I have a 2015 TLX and have replaced the front speaker infront of the nav, and both rear doors due to buzzing. I used to work at the Acura dealer in sales and I still had to show them the issues, but they noticed them and replaced them no questions asked.

Thanks for the reply could it be something else causing this? I’ve noticed the speakers are quite crap on these cars.... the 2013 accord had no blower speakers and I had it for 4 years.

Really sounds like you want to take it into your own hands!

that's what I would do anyway...take apart the door panels to reveal the speakers to see how crappy they are....or to see if something is impeding movement or anything really...
that's exactly what the service techs will do...take it apart.

No not really.... I’m not auto expert but personally think Acura isn’t either? I feel quality has declined over the years. I had an 08 mdx 13 accord 08 tl 12 tl 15 tlx and 19 mdx in the family. Both me and my dad want to switch to Lexus next time around..... besides my Acura delership doesn’t do rides with covid atm.... so that’s out.

right, it really feels like you want to tackle this yourself, then. lol

if no one is willing to address the issue, live with the crappy sound or take it apart and investigate yourself!
cheers!
