less thump thump..

alright so my car doesnt really need the bass from the stock sub anymore..has anyone taken it out and replaced it either with a speaker? or even another sub? could i fight something like a 6x9 coaxial speaker in there?

hahah nah..i want my music to be louder and to hear the vocals better. and the way i see it, i dont need that sub anymore so if i just hook up to either another amp right through that piece of metal into the trunk or just cut the sub wires and hook it right there if i could but idk about that..

Running the speaker off the sub wires wouldn't work because the highs are filtered out for the sub. You wouldn't get the vocals you're looking for.

Unplug it. Without it the stock speakers REALLY lack the midbass and bass to sound good.

Maybe you should have been more specific and said you had other subs in the car. If that is the case you should just remove the sub and leave the hole.

And your sig isnt visible to all. Many have sigs turned off because they clutter up the forum.
