I Require Expert Opinion
I'm looking into buying a 2018+ TLX. Looking for help in deciding which one to get. I currently have a 2015 ilx and something I'd like to avoid is the clunky automatic transmission. I'm not too picky between the 4/6 cylinders. The ultimate decider for me would be the transmission.
I see that the 4cyl model comes with a dual clutch transmission. How is this one in terms of performance, comfort ability and reliability? Do the 4cyl models come in both all wheel and front wheel? What's Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS)
I see that the the 6cyl model comes in a couple of variant: P-AWS or all-wheel drive (SH-AWD) - something to do with hydraulic clutches vs electromagnetic clutch. What's the difference and how do they compare to each other? I also see that it only comes with a 9-speed automatic. How is this transmission compared to the 4cycl dual clutch transmission? Is it true that the 6cyl model is available both in FWD and AWD?
How about the fuel efficiency between the 2 engines? Is the difference significant?
Do the 2018+ face lifted models have the same drive train as the 2017 pre-face lift models?
Does the A-Spec version have anything different about it besides cosmetics?
Thanks in advance to all those that help me decide

Yes the first generation TLX has all the same engine and transmission. The zf9 was updated for 2016 and has improved with minor updates, but it's still a ZF9 at the end of the day.
Fuel efficiency, look at the numbers. You can't go off the MPG of other users since we all drive differently; driving style and environment.
The DCT is a nice transmission, shifts pretty nicely and is smooth. The ZF9 can be smooth if you learn how to drive it as smoothly as you can. If you have a heavy foot, you probably won't be happy with the ZF9, unless you're driving in Sport+ mode.
AWD is only available on v6 model.
All your questions could've been answered quicker with a Google search.

The ASpec is primarily an appearance package but there are some enhanced handling characteristics. I can tell you my 8 speed DCT is a wonderful transmission and is highly regarded by reviewers. Howver, I strongly suggest you do your own research and test drive extensively.
