I'm going STAGE ONE clutch, and i've been gathering info but nothing is better than experience

ACT (Advanced Clutch Tech)

Clutch Master

EXEDY

SPEC (Star Performance Engineered Clutches)

and any other that makes a stage one for 99' 2.3 vtec

what's better for your buck$$ , Expensive don't mean better

ACT extreme pressure plate and street disc.>;]

It'll handle more than you'll ever get out of the 2.3.

The clutch was $425 and the flywheel was $495.

I have no idea what he means by stage one. I know clutchmasters or some other brand uses it to classify holding power/severity.

Better then stock , i'm not pushing 300 plus Hp so why would i buy an extreme clutch spending money and compromising everyday drivability just so i can say i have an clutch that handle hp's i'm not making.

If your going to spend the money and downtime, might as well plan for the future and do it right.

The stage ones arent much better than stock.
