Backup LED Replacements Question

Anyone replaced the backup 21W/7440's with LED's? Which ones did you use and how did they work out? Anyone tried the Carid PlaZma replacements?

The Partsam bulbs above look interesting but there is a comment in Amazon that only one side of the Bulb lit up without some tweaking of contacts.

Any other bulbs tried by forum members and what was your experience. ( I see those bulbs used by "Mr. Hyde" the Cree's also look interesting.)

Are CanBus LED's needed?

Thanks

Both mine light up fine. They've been in my car for about 4wks now and no issues.

Another post in a different forum noted the wires had to be moved because only one side of the bulb would light. Looked like he had a TLX. Any issue like that or just plug in and go?

Just replaced my factory bulbs with these: http://amzn.com/B00P5X67PE
Huge difference in brightness. I picked this because of the projector top and aft reflecting surface to fill the sense with light.

A few things about the replacement - Just like in the Acura handbook, the buttons pop out. They are slotted and are a dual button design. The head is split with a slot for a small flat blade screw driver. Once out, follow instructions from the manual to replace.

To put the buttons back in, first slide the head apart and push the first part in, then slide the button head in to lock. They go in with little resistance when doing this way.
