Has anyone had a problem with their strut starting to leak oil? I notice it not riding like it should, as well as not sounding like it should. Turns out it is leaking. Will have to get some ordered and replace them I guess..

 

It's a wear and tear part, so it happens. How many miles do you had on them before you notice the struts leaking.

 

How many miles are on your car? Are you lowered on springs? If ones leaking I would start checking the rest.

 

Stock suspension. 130k. I am definitely not complaining. Going to order some KYB's tonight.

 

damn.. 130k?????????????? damn considering its a 2009 you must put about 25k a year on that thing

 

I bought the car used last year. It had about 113K on it. An executive for Universal Orlando owned it and all he did was drive around the country to theme parks. The car and motor are just now breaking in good. :-)

 

Mine has 129,400 on it and I bought it in October, 2011 with 22k. I commute 92 miles each way to work 4-5 days a week. Just had my struts checked today and they were fine.

Put the first replacement set of brake pads on it, too. The techs were amazed how long they lasted.

 

It's not a big deal. just want to replace them before I put on new tires. Just have to stay in town long enough to do it...
