Wobbling/fluttering/growling engine noise

Hello,

I have a 2013 acura tl base model with 36k miles with factory warranty. I bought the car from an independent dealership not associated with acura. I started hearing noises from the engine in the mornings when i first start it up. It sounded like rattle but then turned into more like growling. I took it to acura dealer, they said transmission filter was bad and replaced it. But noise is still there but not as loud or prominent. I told acura about it, they said its normal for it to make that noise. So, can anybody shed some light on this issue please? Do i have a bad tranny or this is normal for acura? Here are couple of videos before and after transmission filter change.

First noises before transmission filter change

after transmission filter changed

You may need to turn the volume all the way up to hear everything clearly. There is some background noise as well.

I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what this noise is and what to do about it..

Thanks

Sounds like gurgling.. are you having any issues with your coolant levels? . Has the temperature fluctuated on the dash? Air in the coolant perhaps?

Its hard to describe the noise but yes it sounds like gurgling too. I am not having any issues with coolant levels or temperature fluctuations on the dash. Acura certified techs said it was the transmission filter, everything else looks good they said. They replaced the transmission filter but noise is still there but not as loud. I am afraid something wrong with the tranny that they are not able to figure out.

Thanks

Stupid question and i hope they would have checked it before/during/after the filter change but what are your transmission fluid levels like?

I am not sure if they checked it but when i checked it before filter change, it was ok. I brought the car back after filter changed, and had them listen to the noise but all they said was it is normal for these cars to make this type of noise when cold or first starting up in the morning which is a bunch of bull crap. I never heard such a noise with any of my cars(honda, mercedes, bmw, nissan etc..).
